Walkthrough
1.
Reach Carcadia Burn & Eliminate Rippers
Start your journey northwest out of
the Fadefields into Carcadia Burn. The area is expansive, so hop in a
vehicle to reach the distress call quickly. Along the way:
- Unlock safehouses like the Makeshift Chalet.
- Clear Crawlers if you want extra XP.
- Grab the Silo fast travel point for future convenience.
Once you reach Crumblehall, Quent contacts you about a Ripper crew. Eliminate them—including powerful new enemy types like Meatheads and possibly a Badass Psycho variant.
2.
Meet and Follow Quent
You’ll officially meet Quent,
who hilariously moonlights as part of a “supper club” while defending Carcadia
Burn. Fight alongside him against Rippers and Psychos.
Tip: Use electric weapons and grenades. Rippers
often charge through water, making them extra vulnerable.
You’ll also encounter Meathead variants like Fissionheads (radiation-based). Finish them off, then advance with Quent.
3.
Extend the Bridge & Optional Objectives
At the fortifications, you’ll learn
key lore: the Ripper Queen was once General Callis. Speak to survivors
(optional) for additional story flavor.
Next, attempt to extend the bridge. Unfortunately, the controls fail. Instead, the deal shifts: destroy the catapults bombarding Carcadia, and in return, you’ll earn Callis’ bolt.
4.
Carcadia Outskirts & Catapult Explosives
Head into the Ruined Sumplands
and Rustspires. Expect ambushes, including at least one Badass Psycho.
Clear them out and regroup with Quent in Wonecewas Townhouse to collect
explosives.
Defeat Rippers guarding the catapults, then plant explosives. A new enemy appears here: the Phalanx (Vile Enemy). Break its crystals/orbs before it can be damaged—similar mechanics to the Vile Lictor fight.
5.
Failed Explosives & Head to the Bar
After planting charges, take cover
and wait. The old explosives fail to detonate, forcing a new plan: get help
from Vault Hunter Zane.
Follow Quent to Moxxi’s Bottom’s Up! bar. Clear out additional Rippers along the way.
6.
Fight at the Bar & Meet Bartender
Outside the bar, you’ll fight a
large wave of Rippers, including another Vile Enemy (Vile Zerker). Break
its crystals before finishing it off.
Once cleared, head inside and meet the Bartender. After the cutscene, the Wrath of the Ripper Queen mission ends, leading directly into Siege and Destroy.
