After becoming the first-ever K-pop artist to receive a solo Grammy nomination, Rosé turned the moment into a full-blown celebration. On February 1, she kicked off the awards night with a high-energy live performance of APT, alongside Bruno Mars. The duo instantly had the crowd on its feet, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The collaboration was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year — with the last two being part of the prestigious Big Four Grammy categories. Opening the show, Rosé and Bruno made sure viewers were in party mode right from the start, highlighting just how massive these nominations are for her career.

A Big Grammy Moment for K-Pop Demon Hunters

The night also marked a historic win for K-pop in another major category. Golden, the viral track from Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters, won Best Song Written for Visual Media — making it the first-ever K-pop song to take home a Grammy.

The song is performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who provide the singing voices for the HUNTRIX girls in the film. Songwriting credits go to EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, DO, 24, and Teddy. The team accepted the award during the pre-telecast ceremony, thanking fans and acknowledging Teddy Park, who couldn’t attend.

With four nominations in total, K-Pop Demon Hunters has already secured one big win, marking a proud moment for the genre on a global stage.
