Quest Location: How to Start The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar
To begin, teleport to the western waypoint in Frostmoon Enclave. From there, move southeast until you find a large hole in the ground. Jumping inside will automatically trigger The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar quest.
Step-by-Step Quest Guide
1. Follow the Crab Tsar Underground
After the opening cutscene, follow the Crab Tsar deeper into the cave. It will block your path with rock pillars. Use:
- Kuuvahki plants to transform into Kuuhenki and smash obstacles.
- Kuuvahki energy to destroy rocks.
2. Destroy Obstacles with Lakkaberry
At one point, you’ll encounter a Rock Crab blocking the way. Place a Lakkaberry on the rock to feed it. The crab will clear the path, granting you an Exquisite Chest. More obstacles appear further inside, but Kuuhenki and Kuuvahki energy will help clear them.
3. Search for the Crab Tsar’s Traces
When you reach a dead end, a new NPC ally will appear in a cutscene. Afterward, stand on the mirror platform until the seal breaks, revealing a new passage.
Continue along the path, use Moonlanes for faster travel, and eventually unlock a new teleport waypoint along with another Exquisite Chest.
4. Confront the Crab Tsar
Head into the water to start the fight against the Crab Tsar. It uses rock pillars and mirror-hiding mechanics to stall you. Strategy to win:
- Destroy rocks with Kuuvahki energy.
- Attack the Crab Tsar when it hides inside mirrors.
- Avoid heavy pillar strikes.
Defeating the boss will trigger the final cutscene and complete the quest.
Quest Rewards
Finishing The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar quest rewards you with:
- 40 Primogems
- 2 Precious Chests
- 1 Luxurious Chest (Nod-Krai Luxurious Chest location)
