Where to Find All Cogheart Pieces in Hollow Knight Silksong

Before starting, keep in mind: you’ll need the Double Jump ability to access all Cogheart puzzles. Each fragment is locked behind a rhythm-based bell puzzle that must be solved to release the piece.

• Third Cogheart Piece – Hidden deep inside the Whispering Vaults. Descend all the way to the lowest level, then move left to discover the final bell sequence.

Once collected, the three fragments automatically merge into the complete Cogheart.

How to Use the Cogheart in Hollow Knight Silksong

With the Cogheart fully assembled, the next step is taking it to the Cogwork Core. Here’s the full path:

1. Travel through the Coral Chamber pathway at the very top of the area.

2. Move left and begin descending carefully—watch out for spike traps.

3. You’ll reach a Resting Bench midway, which is a good reset point.

4. Continue down until you see a narrow passage on the lower left.

5. Use Double Jump and wall jumps to scale upward platforms.

6. Break through a fragile wall to reveal a hidden corridor.

Inside, you’ll find the dormant automaton. Interact with it, and place the Cogheart into its chest cavity.

Once powered up, the automaton takes flight, patrolling the Citadel and fighting enemies it encounters. But its role goes beyond combat—activating the Cogheart also triggers the Final Audience questline, which you can start from the Songclave’s wish board.
