How to Start The Tale-Telling Heart Quest
The quest begins automatically the first time you visit Blue Amber Lake.
Step 1: Collect Stellafruits for Sergeant Octopus
- Gather 24 Stellafruits from the glowing blue flowers around the lake.
- Some flowers remain closed—use Kuuvahki energy to open them.
- Deliver the Stellafruits to the two Sergeant Octopuses to begin their trials.
Step 2: Complete Sergeant Octopus’s Trials
Trial #1:
- Use Unipolar Crystronites to hit flying targets and Stellafruits.
- Destroy 99 Stellafruits within the time limit.
- Rewards: 1 Precious Chest + 1 Exquisite Chest.
Trial #2:
- Destroy 99 Stellafruits again, this time using blue jump rings to reach higher spots.
- Avoid red rings (which disable jumps) and dodge electrical waves.
- Rewards: 2 more chests.
Step 3: Return to Colonel Iron Whale
Climb the giant whale structure and follow the quest marker.
Step 4: Find Spare Parts & Unlock the Workshop
- Defeat Treasure Hoarders and collect the missing lever.
- Install it on the lift to access the Abandoned Workshop.
- Follow Huginn, interact with Messily Scribbled Notes, and catch the mole.
- Use Kuuvahki energy to break through blocked walls.

- This awakens Colonel Iron Whale and unlocks new dialogue.
Step 7: Ride the Aurora
- Transform into Kuuhenki form and ride the Aurora to the final location.
