Dying Light: The Beast Scavenger Set Locations – How to Get Every Armor Piece & Bonuses

In Dying Light: The Beast, the Scavenger set is not the strongest for combat, but it is one of the best outfits for farming crafting materials. Each piece boosts your loot gains, helping you stock up on essentials like rags, mods, and resources while exploring Castor Woods.

Much like the Explorer set, you can grab the Scavenger armor fairly early in the game, making it a great starter choice. Below, we’ll cover all Scavenger set locations, how to unlock each piece, and what bonuses the full set provides.

  • How to Get: Unlock the basement door, then crawl through the vent in the adjacent room. The headset is on a table near some boxes.
  • This is a Dark Zone, filled with sleeping zombies. Sneak or use stealth weapons like bows/crossbows.

Scavenger Reinforced Jeans Location

  • Where: A Vanity Store east-southeast of Old Town Hall, close to the courtyard.
  • How to Get: Pick the lock on the loot room door. The jeans are on the shelf to the right.

Scavenger Boots Location

  • Where: Inside the Taurus Megastore, located above the Recreation Island Tower Safe Spot marker.
  • How to Get: Enter through the hidden side path near stacked boxes and a parked truck. The boots are in the break room at the back.
  • Watch out for two Screamers and other infected. Loot the megastore—it’s packed with resources.

Scavenger Arm Wraps Location

  • Where: Another Nate Market, across the bridge south of Town Hall.
  • How to Get: Fight or sneak past multiple zombies and three Screamers. In the break room, open the vent to find the bracers next to a dead manager.

Scavenger Chest Piece (Reinforced Shirt) Location

  • Where: A Vanity Store in the Villa Area, east of the previous Nate Market.
  • How to Get: Similar layout to the other Vanity Store—find the shirt in the backroom.
  • Bonus: The Lucky Duck Charm Blueprint is also here, increasing the number of Common Craftparts you loot.

Scavenger Gloves Location

  • Where: A Nate Market in the Farmlands. Head west from the Villa Area Vanity Store until you cross the freeway.
  • How to Get: Clear the Dark Zone, crawl through the basement vent, and unlock the cabinet to get the gloves.

Scavenger Set Bonuses in Dying Light: The Beast

Wearing the complete Scavenger set grants the following passive bonuses:

  • +36% Common Craftparts loot
  • +18% Uncommon Craftparts loot
  • +24% Accessory Damage

These buffs make it easier to stock up on bandage materials, mod parts, and crafting supplies. The Accessory Damage bonus likely applies to throwable items such as molotovs, grenades, mines, and throwing knives—similar to Dying Light 2.

Should You Use the Scavenger Set?

  • Best for: Farming resources, Dark Zone runs, crafting builds.
  • Not great for: Direct combat.

If you need more combat effectiveness, the Mercenary set is a better option. It increases headshot damage, reduces incoming damage, and lowers firearm recoil—making it ideal for fighting tougher mobs.

The Scavenger set in Dying Light: The Beast is a must-have if you want to keep your crafting bench stocked and ready. Grab the set early, pair it with the Lucky Duck Charm, and you’ll never run short on craftparts again.

For combat-heavy players, consider swapping to the Mercenary set, but for explorers and scavengers, this outfit is your ticket to survival.
