Dying Light: The Beast is packed with exciting Easter Eggs, and one of the coolest
is the Leviathan Axe from God of War. Known in-game as the Ciupaga,
this legendary one-handed axe has the same iconic recall mechanic that allows
you to throw it at enemies and summon it back — just like Kratos’ weapon.
However, unlike the original
Leviathan Axe, the Ciupaga has limited durability and cannot be repaired. This
makes it best reserved for tough encounters rather than everyday zombie
slaying.

How
the Ciupaga Works
Once equipped, the Ciupaga functions
almost exactly like Kratos’ Leviathan Axe from God of War. You
can:
- Throw it at enemies
to deal high damage.
- Recall it instantly,
watching it fly back into your hands.
However, there are some key
limitations:
- Stamina Cost:
Each throw consumes stamina, so use it strategically.
- Durability:
The axe wears down with use and cannot be repaired.
Because of these restrictions, the Ciupaga is best saved for boss fights or large hordes, rather than everyday combat.
The Leviathan Axe Easter Egg is one of the best-hidden weapons in Dying Light: The Beast. While it may not be as durable as Kratos’ legendary weapon, its unique recall ability and high damage make it worth the effort to find. Just remember to use it wisely — once it breaks, it’s gone.
