Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Trailer Reveals 18 Maps, New Modes & More

Nearly four months after its first teaser, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has finally received a full Multiplayer reveal trailer. The new footage not only highlights the game’s explosive combat but also comes alongside a massive breakdown from Activision detailing maps, modes, weapons, perks, and scorestreaks.

When Black Ops 7 launches later this year, players will have access to 18 Multiplayer maps at release — including three iconic remasters from Black Ops 2. And with less than two months until launch, fans can also look forward to an open beta in October, plus a dedicated Zombies reveal trailer arriving on September 24.

Returning Fan Favorites

For longtime fans, Activision is bringing back three legendary maps from Black Ops 2: Express, Hijacked, and Raid. These fan-favorites will be reimagined for modern gameplay while staying true to their original design.

Meanwhile, Treyarch has confirmed that Black Ops 7’s original maps follow the studio’s iconic three-lane philosophy, ensuring tactical depth and balance across every match.

New Game Mode: Overload

Among the returning classics, Black Ops 7 will also debut Overload, a new 6v6 objective-based mode. Players must capture and overload enemy control zones by carrying a spawned device into their territory. Each successful score respawns a new device, keeping the action fast-paced and unpredictable.

What’s Next for Black Ops 7

The Multiplayer trailer is only the beginning of Activision’s pre-launch campaign. A dedicated Zombies reveal trailer is set to drop on September 24, promising new story details, maps, and gameplay mechanics.

With 18 maps, a mix of returning and new modes, and fresh gameplay systems, Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be one of the most feature-packed Call of Duty launches in years.
