All Borderlands 4 Safehouses & Datapad Locations (Complete Guide)

Fast travel is a lifesaver in Borderlands 4. With Kairos being massive and quests often dragging you from one end of the map to the other, Safehouses are essential checkpoints. Each Safehouse allows you to unlock a fast-travel point by locating its datapad.

2. Shut-Eye Keep (The Howl)

Located at the top of a tower near a pond. Take the lift at the base to reach it.

2. The Food Court (Terminus District)

Guarded by Ripper faction enemies—clear them for safety.

  • Datapad Location: On garbage dump near the Evolving Chili stall.

3. Sumpview Falls (Fades District)

The last Safehouse, unlocked in the Plan Z story quest.

  • Datapad Location: Inside a drainage ditch wall opening, accessible via ladder.

Safehouses are more than just fast-travel hubs—they serve as key progression checkpoints in Borderlands 4. Unlocking all 14 across the four regions will make traversing Kairos much easier, especially if you’re replaying the campaign with a new Vault Hunter.

If you’re also interested in alternative travel options, Order Silos provide additional fast travel but don’t replace Safehouses for regional coverage.
