Borderlands 4 Ripper Drill Sites Guide: All Locations and Legendary Drops

In Borderlands 4, one of the most rewarding side activities you can tackle across Kairos are the Ripper Drill sites. These areas spawn waves of enemies followed by a boss encounter, making them excellent for legendary farming, XP grinding, and Storage Deck Unit upgrades.

There are six Ripper Drill sites in total, spread across three main regions of Kairos—the Fadedfields, the Terminus Range, and Carcadia Burn. Each site has unique bosses and loot.

1) The Prospects (Hungering Plain)

·         Location: Behind Horace’s Oversight, near the Debilitory in Hungering Plain.

·         Fast Travel: East from Shut-Eye Keep.

·         Boss: Sidney Pointylegs

·         Legendary Drops:

o    Swarm

o    Noisy Cricket

o    Disc Jockey

2) The Pitted Stain (Idolator’s Noose)

·         Location: Left of Fortress Indominta, near Racketurn POI.

·         Fast Travel: Someday Rise Safehouse → head south.

·         Bosses: Three minibosses

·         Location: South of The Reliquary Silo in Cuspid Climb.

4) The Lowering March (Stoneblood Forest)

·         Location: North of Snowy Wells Safehouse, deep in Stoneblood Forest.

5) Tendercade (Lopside)

·         Location: Edge of Lopside near Grindstone of the Worthy.

·         Fast Travel: East from Makeshift Chalet Safehouse.

·         Landmark: Entrance is a massive skull, visible from afar.

·         Bosses: Bango & Pan

·         Legendary Drops:

o    Phantom Flame

o    Stray

6) Saw’s Clench (Ruined Sumplands)

·         Location: North from Judgement’s Lapse Silo in Ruined Sumplands.

·         Bosses: Airborne enemies (unique to this site).

·         Tip: Bring heavy weapons or knives—grenades are less effective here.

·         Legendary Drops:

o    Wombo Combo

o    Spinning Blade
