Step 1: Locate Tsuyu’s Key
After the Bo master reveals that Tsuyu’s key is hidden above the Mountainside Ruins, you’ll receive three key clues about its location:
- It was hidden west of Yura.
- It is buried near Okunoion Sasayama Shrine.
- It can be accessed through the Mountainside Ruins.
To reach the spot:
-
Travel to the Yura region in the southern part of Awaji Island.
-
From there, head west toward the Okunoion Sasayama Shrine viewpoint.
-
The burial site lies directly north of the Mountainside Ruins.
Once you reach the marked location, interact with the ground to dig up Tsuyu’s key.
Step 2: Survive the Ambush
The moment you retrieve the key, a cutscene triggers, and an “Unknown” enemy target appears, backed by several soldiers.
- The Unknown enemy fights from a distance, so be ready to dodge long-range strikes.
- Use the Bo weapon acquired in the previous quest to deal with close-range attackers.
- Focus on clearing out the normal enemies first, then press the attack against the Unknown.
After sustaining some damage, the Unknown will retreat, signaling the end of the ambush.
Step 3: Quest Completion & What’s Next
Defeating the enemies successfully completes A Long Lost Key quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji. Immediately afterward, the story transitions into the next main mission: The Regalia.
