Ram Charan is acting as the hero in the upcoming sports action drama film “Peddi”, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
Earlier, the movie was planned to release on March 27, 2026. But recently, the makers officially changed the release date. Now, the film will be released worldwide in theaters on April 30, 2026.

“Peddi” to Release on April 30
The film team announced this update on social media. They wrote:
“The date of his arrival has changed, but his strong spirit has not. Peddi will release worldwide on April 30, 2026.”
Reports say that the movie was postponed because some shooting work is still pending. However, the makers have not shared more details.
Box Office Clash Avoided
Pawan Kalyan’s movie “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is set to release on March 26, 2026. Since “Peddi” was postponed, both movies will no longer clash at the box office.
About the Movie “Peddi”
The story of this film is based on a cricket tournament in a village background.
Ram Charan plays the lead role. Other actors in the movie include Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and others.
Earlier, the makers introduced Janhvi Kapoor’s character as “Achiyamma.” In the movie, she will be seen as a lively and cheerful village girl.
Buchi Babu Sana has written and directed this film. It is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena under Vriddhi Cinemas and Ivy Entertainment banners.
The music for this film is composed by A.R. Rahman. The first song, “Chikiri Chikiri,” was sung by Mohit Chauhan in both Telugu and Hindi.

Ram Charan was last seen in the movie “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar. In this film, he plays an honest IAS officer who fights against corruption in politics.
