If you’re just getting started in Arc Raiders, the Practice Range is your best friend. It’s the perfect place to learn how Arcs tick — figure out their weak spots, see how many shots it really takes to drop one, and sharpen your aim before jumping back into the chaos. Plus, you can test different loadouts to see what feels right for your playstyle before heading out to grab that sweet loot for Speranza.
Here’s everything you need to know about getting into the Practice Range.

You Can’t Access It Right Away
Don’t go looking for the Practice Range the second you boot up the game — it’s locked at the start.
To unlock it, you’ll need to play four rounds. The good news? Even if you replay the same quest a few times (say, if you die or miss an objective), those still count toward unlocking the range.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll find the Practice Range at the top of the map, right next to the Spaceport and just above Dam Battlegrounds.

Step-by-Step: How to Enter the Practice Range
Step 1: Click on the Play Tab in the top-left corner of your screen.
Step 2: Hit the yellow “PLAY” button in the bottom-right corner.
Step 3: When you reach the map selection screen, choose Practice Range (it’s above Dam Battlegrounds), then hit Confirm.
Step 4: Pick your custom loadout — weapons, ammo, the works.
Step 5: Click “Ready Up” and you’re good to go!
You’ll need to wait a few seconds for the section to load, and then you’ll have about 51 minutes inside the range to practice.
What You Can Do in the Practice Range
Once you’re in, it’s open season for testing. You’ll find wooden targets to work on your accuracy, dummy enemies and Arcs to study damage points, and ammo containers scattered around if you run low.
If you die (hey, it happens), don’t worry — you’ll respawn right back at the starting area.
It’s a super useful space to get your aim locked in and experiment with weapons before heading back into the real fights.
