Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Might’ve Just Leaked Its Next Map — “Sleighjacked”

Looks like Activision slipped up a little. A new holiday-themed version of the fan-favorite Hijacked map — called Sleighjacked — briefly appeared on the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 website before being taken down.

The updated Season 1 roadmap was live just long enough for sharp-eyed fans (and CharlieIntel, of course) to spot it. The festive map seems to give the classic Black Ops 2 battleground a full Christmas makeover — and honestly, it sounds perfect for some chaotic seasonal shootouts.

Map variants like this have become something of a Call of Duty tradition, and Sleighjacked looks set to continue that trend. While Activision quickly scrubbed any mention of it, the leak makes it pretty clear that this jolly version of Hijacked is headed to Black Ops 7 soon — likely as part of the upcoming Season 1 content drop.

More Classic Maps Are Coming Back

The return of Hijacked is just one piece of the nostalgia pie this year. Activision already confirmed that Nuketown will drop on November 20, less than a week after launch. Then, when Season 1 officially rolls out, we’ll see two more Black Ops 2 classics — Standoff and Meltdown — make their comeback.
Fun fact: Meltdown hasn’t appeared in a Call of Duty title in over 13 years, so fans of the old-school maps have plenty to be excited about.

Season 1 and Prestige Rewards

So far, Activision has only teased a preview of the Season 1 roadmap. A full breakdown of what’s coming is still under wraps. But Treyarch has been keeping the hype going with short dev talks, and the latest one focused on UI and progression.

The big news? Prestige Rewards are back. Players got a first look at the Prestige 1 Operator Skin and Weapon Blueprint — and it seems we’ll also be able to customize our HUD themes across all three game modes.

Release Date Rumors? Not So Fast.

Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz that Black Ops 7 might release earlier than expected. Some insiders claimed players could get early access to the Campaign or Zombies by pre-ordering the Vault Edition.

But Activision has officially denied those rumors, confirming that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch Friday, November 14, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC — right on schedule.
