Step 1
– Talk to The Boss
Head to The Low Keys and interact with The Boss to begin the mission. He’ll brief you on Vile Lictor, an ancient enemy that still threatens to rise again. Your task is simple — stop it from ever returning.
Step 2
– Reach Vile Lictor’s Black Site
Once your conversation ends, set your waypoint to the Vile Lictor’s Black Site. It’s quite a journey, so use your Digirunner to travel faster — or explore the scenery if you’re feeling adventurous.
Step 3
– Find a Way In
When you arrive, you’ll find the entrance sealed. Turn right and locate a stuck elevator nearby. Use your Grapple to pull down a canister, then insert it into the door mechanism to unlock entry.
Step 4
– Insert the Drive
Enter the room beyond the door and slot the drive into the console. This begins a data transfer needed for the next stage of the quest.
Step 5
– Grab the Drive After ECHO Halts the Download
ECHO will eventually stop the download process. When this happens, remove the drive and keep it safe — you’ll need it soon.
Step 6
– Return to The Boss
Head back to The Boss in The Low Keys and insert the recovered drive into his console. This will trigger the next phase of the mission.
Step 7
– Take the Virus
After uploading the drive, The Boss will provide you with a Virus designed to permanently stop Vile Lictor’s return. Take it and prepare for your next journey.
Step 8
– Reach Bruce and Connect The Boss
Travel to Bruce, a nearby Bulkhead machine. Interact with him to establish a connection between Bruce and The Boss.
Step 9
– Follow Bruce and Enter the Rift
Stick close to Bruce as he leads you toward a Rift. Use your Grapple to cross into it and prepare for combat on the other side.
Step 10
– Defeat Guards and Vile Enemies
Once through the Rift, stay near Bruce and fend off waves of Guards and later, Vile Enemies. The battle intensifies, but they’re manageable with good crowd control weapons.
Step 11
– Inject the Virus
After clearing enemies, follow your mission marker to the mainframe. Inject the Virus to shut down Vile Lictor’s resurrection once and for all.
Step 12
– Upload The Boss to Bruce
Return to The Boss, take the drive, and upload him into Bruce’s system. This grants The Boss a new, more durable body.
Step 13
– Become The Boss
For the final step, upload yourself — and become The Boss. This marks the completion of Borderlands 4’s Mob Justice side mission.
Tips for Completing Mob Justice Faster
·
Unlock
Fast Travel points early to cut down long walks.
·
Carry high
fire-rate weapons — there are multiple enemy waves.
·
