Among the many quests in Nod-Krai, the Tale of the Gate Stone quest in Genshin Impact is one of the shortest yet rewarding ones. It is part of the Polkka Beneath the Moon’s Oracle quest chain and takes place in the Frostmoon Enclave on Hiisi Island.

The Tale of the Gate Stone Quest Location
To begin the quest, teleport to the Frostmoon Enclave using the Hiisi Island Statue of the New Moon. Head north from the teleport point and look for Kasha, a little girl standing near the Priestess of the Frostmoon Scions.
Speak with Kasha to officially start the Tale of the Gate Stone quest.
Step 1: Find “Pretty Stones” Nearby
Kasha will ask you to look for pretty stones, though she doesn’t give any clear description. What you’re actually searching for is a fragment that needs to be placed on the large stone in the Frostmoon Enclave.
Head northeast of Kasha’s location to find a kuuhenki mechanism near a tree. Approach it, activate its power, and pick up the fragment sitting on a rock next to the nearby building.
Step 2: Talk to Kasha
Once you’ve obtained the fragment, return to Kasha. She’ll tell you to put it back on the large stone at the center of the enclave.
Step 3: Place the Fragment on the Stone
Stand in front of the stone and use Kuuvahki energy to place the fragment on it. A short interaction will complete the objective.
After placing the stone, speak with Kasha one last time to finish the quest.

For completing the Tale of the Gate Stone quest, you’ll receive:
- 30 Primogems
- 1 Common Chest
- Additional minor loot
