Apart from PUBG, the government has banned apps like Baidu, APUS Launcher Pro, according to an order issued by the IT Ministry. Significantly, in late June, the Indian government had declared 58 Chinese apps banned in India, including TikTok, including ShareIt, UC Browser, Shein, Club Factory, Clash of Kings, Helo, Mi Community, CamScanner, ES File Explorer , Many applications like VMate included. 

Later, 47 more apps were banned by the government in July. The government claimed that all these apps were involved in some such activities, which could pose a threat to the sovereignty and integrity of the country, security of the country, security of the state and public order etc.
